Resumen
El propósito de este estudio es determinar la relación existente entre los factores relacionados con el Covid-19 en el emprendedor y la innovación para lo cual se consideró a 194 emprendedores de micro y pequeñas empresas del departamento de Nariño. La investigación es un estudio cuantitativo, correlacional y no experimental de corte transversal, con una muestra de 194 emprendedores, utiliza el modelo de regresión jerárquica para probar la pregunta de investigación, los datos recopilados se procesaron en SPSS utilizando regresiones jerárquicas. Los principales hallazgos permitieron determinar que se presentó significancia en el modelo cuando se introdujo las variables relacionadas con factores del Covid-19 sobre la personalidad del emprendedor y la innovación en micro y pequeñas empresas del departamento de Nariño (∆R2 0.03, p < .10; F 0.20, p<.10). Entre las conclusiones se destaca que los resultados del estudio permiten aportar evidencia empírica sobre los efectos de factores relacionados con el Covid-19 sobre el emprendedor y la innovación en micro y pequeñas empresas del sector comercial en el departamento de Nariño
