Relationship between the behavior oh the contagion of Covid-19 and the loss of jobs in the city of Sincelejo in the period March 2020-March 2021

With the completion of this work, the aim is to analyze the relationship between the Behavior of COVID-19 Contagion and the loss of jobs in the City of Sincelejo, between March 2020 to March 2021, based on data obtained from secondary sources such as the DANE and the National Institute of Health-INS. The analysis is proposed using a Pearson correlation model, the existing relationship between the analyzed variables is estimated. The results estimate a certain positive and proportional relationship, which explains that the restrictive measures taken by the Local and National Administrations to control contagion depress to a certain extent the employment of the City of Sincelejo.
