Strengthening cultural identity through traditional dances of the Boyacá department through the use of ICT
This paper seeks to rescue the folkloric customs related to the traditional dances of the department of Boyacá based on the development of a didactic strategy articulated from the use of ICT. Methodologically it is a mixed one, framed in the descriptive research method with comparative design, aimed at seventh grade students of the Boyacá de Duitama school, in which through the use of ICT as a didactic resource, it is intended that students appropriate the knowledge of the different dance rhythms of the department and therefore its cultural identity is strengthened; From the results of the study, it is concluded that the majority of students participating in the research did not have full knowledge of the cultural tradition inherent to the dances of the department, which influences the development of their identity, with the pedagogical strategy implemented, the appropriation of the folkloric traditions of the department of Boyacá.
