Why characterize the CDC of chemistry teachers?: An approach to the desing and validation of the ACCDC instrument

Abstract

This article raises the importance of the recognition of the design and validation of instruments, which describe the CDC of teachers, which serves as a starting point for the reflection of practice
and the management of proposals for change in science teaching processes, With this in mind, we seek to show a qualitative project advance and case study method, which aims to relate the development of scientific skills from the study of the CDC of three chemistry teachers, starting from the objective of characterizing that CDC in the teachers. Through this process, the importance
of recognizing the categories that affect the practice of teachers and how they theoretically support teaching is evidenced, expanding the field of knowledge of the teaching CDC in the Colombian school from the theoretical review that supports reliability. of new instruments.
