Pedagogy and didactics in a law school: reflections on the teaching of law in the development of the socio-legal line

This research paper analyzes the importance of pedagogy and didactics in a Law School, with a special focus on the development of the socio-legal line. Thus, this writing understands that pedagogy and didactics are fundamental elements to guarantee an integral formation of law students, promoting a critical and reflective approach towards the study and application of law in society; Under this framework, the socio-legal line focuses on understanding the relationships between law and the social, economic and political aspects that influence its application. Then, how is an application possible from the theory of education, in didactics and pedagogy, for a line of approach in Law such as the socio-legal one? This work supports that pedagogy and didactics play a crucial role in the training of legal professionals in a Law School, especially in the socio-legal line. Therefore, certain substantial reflections that erect these disciplines are exposed; which allow a comprehensive legal education that promotes analytical, critical and ethical skills in students, preparing them to face the challenges of a constantly changing society and contributing to the construction of a fairer and more equitable legal system
