Hematophos B 1 growth promoters in broilers

The objective of this research work was to determine the effect of hematophos b 12 growth promoters in broilers. The trial lasted 42 days and a total of 250 broilers of the Ross line were used, distributed in five groups of the same age and each group had 50 broilers, which served as control treatment (To) and experimental treatment plots, respectively. All the sanitary, biological and feeding tasks were carried out daily, without any important news regarding serious or unsolvable problems in a period of time that would interfere in the final result of the research. The weights were taken weekly and the values of feed consumption, water consumption, mortality and invested values (production costs) were recorded daily, the data were evaluated by means of a completely randomized design, which determined that there was a high statistical significance (p<0.05), the accumulated feed conversion of the T4 group (1. 96) was the best, the mortality percentage was 4% for groups T1 and T2 while for the other groups it was 0%, the economic analysis determined that group T3 obtained a higher profit in relation to the other treatments, the cost-benefit ratio determined that economically it is not recommendable to use oral Hematophos B 12 as a growth promoter in broilers.
