Use of artificial intelligence in the personalization of learning

This research study focuses on the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in education, with an emphasis on personalization of learning. An exhaustive bibliographic documentary review was carried out using various databases. The documentary bibliographic review methodology, with a qualitative approach, was based on collecting and selecting relevant information from documents, magazines, books and other academic resources. The results reveal that AI plays a fundamental role in educational transformation, offering tools such as chatbots, recommendation systems and serious games that contribute to the personalization of learning. Techniques such as educational data mining, multi-agent systems, fuzzy logic and Bayesian systems stand out in this context. The adaptability and effectiveness of the educational process is improved by AI's ability to analyze data, personalize teaching strategies, and evaluate performance on an individualized basis. In this new educational model, the role of the teacher evolves towards that of a facilitator and learning guide, taking advantage of the capacity of AI to create more personalized and effective educational experiences. The simulation and improvement of human cognitive processes by AI, such as logical reasoning and decision making, contribute to more dynamic learning that is adaptable to the specific needs of each student. This study, through comparative analysis and impact assessments, seeks to identify best practices, challenges and opportunities associated with the integration of artificial intelligence in personalized education.
