Impact of technologies in budgetary and tax administration in Ecuador
In Ecuador, the impact of technologies on budgetary and tax administration has been significant in recent decades. The implementation of technological systems and tools has revolutionized the way the government manages its finances and monitors tax compliance. Regarding budget administration, digitalization has allowed greater efficiency in the planning and monitoring of public resources. The automation of financial and accounting processes has streamlined the preparation and execution of budgets, reducing bureaucracy and human errors. This has led to a more effective allocation of resources for government programs and projects, which translates into better service to citizens. In the tax field, technologies have improved collection and inspection. However, this technological advancement also poses challenges, such as data protection and cybersecurity. An exploratory and descriptive methodology was used, theoretical and empirical methods were applied. As a result, it was known that the successful implementation of technologies in budgetary and tax administration in Ecuador requires a solid infrastructure and a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy. It is concluded that technologies have transformed budgetary and tax administration in Ecuador, improving efficiency and transparency. As the country continues to move in this direction, it is critical to address technological and security challenges to maintain and enhance these benefits.
