Integration of artificial intelligence in educational practices within the faculty of public accounting BUAP

Abstract

The research examines the incorporation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the educational field, specifically in the Faculty of Public Accounting of the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla. The benefits that AI can offer in the personalization of learning are highlighted, as well as the challenges that must be overcome to improve educational quality. The proposed hypothesis suggests that an effective integration of AI in teaching can optimize the personalization of learning and contribute to better educational quality, provided that challenges, such as algorithmic biases and technological dependency, are adequately addressed. A survey-type instrument was applied to faculty teachers, obtaining both qualitative and quantitative data. The most relevant results include high percentages in: familiarity with AI, perception of benefits, knowledge about personalizing learning with AI, and interest in tools associated with AI. As a recommendation, comprehensive training for teachers on topics related to technology and AI is suggested.
